Box Score DALLAS, TX – The Millsaps women's soccer team was unable to keep up their energy to defeat the University of Dallas and fell 2-0.
 
With only 12 players able to play, the Majors lack of depth was the ultimate killer to Millsaps ability to win.
 
Riley Fobare and Molly Ambrose led the Millsaps offense with one shot on goal and two  total shots respectively.
 
Olivia Gattuso, Major goalkeeper, worked hard on the defensive side of the ball to record 11 saves and two goals allowed but it was not enough to overcome the 2-0 shutout.
 
For the Majors next outing, the team needs to work on healing the the injured and increasing endurance.
 
The Millsaps women's soccer team will be back in action on Saturday, Sept. 10 when they take on Texarkana A&M. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m.
