MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – Millsaps fell 1-0 in a hard fought battle at Berry Sunday afternoon. The Majors were outshot 29-3 and 15-2 on goal. Grayston Barron (Little Rock, Ark.) finished the match with two shots on goal while Molly Ambrose (Pensacola, Fla.) also had a shot in the match.

Berry broke the scoreless tie in the 15th minute to take the 1-0 lead. MIllsaps had scoring opportunities in the first half when Ambrose's shot went wide in the 25th minute and Barron's shot was saved in the 42nd minute.

MIllsaps had a chance to tie things up in the second half but Barron's shot in the 56th minute was saved by the keeper. 

Alyssa McCarron (Baton Rouge, La.) entered in goal in the 11th minute and came away with a career high 12 saves in the match.

Millsaps plays their final non-conference game of the season on Wednesday at Harper Davis Field against Delta State at 7:00 p.m.
