JACKSON, Miss. – Before Satruday's match against Hendrix, Millsaps celebrated senior day by honoring their eight seniors.

Lena Barrett (Vestavia Hills, Ala.),
Meredith Gates (Broussard, La.),
Shelby Marsh (Dallas, Texas),
Madelyn Pearce (Alabaster, Ala.),
Regan Riddle (Montgomery, Ala.),
Presley Stoltzfus (Baton Rouge, La.) and
Ashley Zamjahn (Harahan, La.) were all recognized for their contribution to the team on and off the court.
MIllsaps ended up getting swept by the Warriors (18-25, 23-25, 24-26). This puts the Majors in fourth place with one game yet to play in conference.
Erica Bennett (Slidell, La.) led the team with 15 kills while Riddle was the only other Major in double figures with ten. Zamjahn finished the day with a match high 32 digs, and Marsh had an impressive day with 29 assists, 13 digs and three kills.
Both teams traded points in the first set unable to break away early. With the score tied at ten, Hendrix went on a seven-point run that gave them enough to take the lead.
The second set was much closer throughout. Both teams were knotted at 18 late in the set and the Warriors went on another run, outscoring Millsaps 5-3 to take a 23-20 lead. The Majors answered back and found themselves down by just one point, but Hendrix scored the final two points to take a two sets to none lead.
It took extra points to decide the third set. After Millsaps came behind to tie the score at 24, Hendrix again came through and scored the final two points to win the match.
With the loss, Millsaps is now 12-12 on the season and 6-7 in SAA play, they currently sit in fourth place with an SAA match to play and have a chance to finish third for the SAA tournament. The Majors conclude the conference regular season at home against Rhodes starting at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday.
