Tougaloo then went on a 10-0 run that was stopped by a three by Millicent Butler to make it an 18-7 deficit with 2:21 left in the first. Thomas finished the quarter with a three at the buzzer to make it 24-10 at the end of the first.

Millsaps stayed with the Lady Bulldogs in the second. The bench came through with the offense, scoring all of the Majors points in the quarter.
