Millsaps fell behind early, with Piedmont getting off to a quick start in the second inning, scoring nine runs. The Majors hit well on the evening, but struggled to convert those hits to runs, with
Chase Callaway scoring one run in the bottom of the sixth inning and
Connor Woodall scoring the Majors' other run in the eight inning.

Daniel Gallarno all pitched in this game. The Majors combined to get 10 hits on 37 at-bats.
