Rhodes was on the attack from the get go. In the first three minutes of the match they had three corner kicks that they were unable to capitalize off of. The Lynx were able to put the ball in the back of the net in the 12th minute to break the scoreless tie.
In the 24th minute of the match, Millsaps had a scoring opportunity when Barron put a shot on goal from about 30 yards out that was saved by the keeper. The Majors kept things close for the rest of the first half and went into the locker room down 1-0.
Rhodes started the second half on high note scoring just one minute into play. The Lynx scored nine minutes later in the 55th minute and four minutes after that in the 59th minute to give the game its final of 4-0.
Millsaps is back at home on Tuesday for a non-conference match against East Texas Baptist, game time is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. at Harper Davis Field.
