MIllsaps looked good early, taking the first two sets from the Lynx. The Majors started the first set by holding onto a slim lead until Rhodes tied things at 13. Both teams traded points until the score was tied at 19. Millsaps then outscored Rhodes 6-2 to win the first set.
The Majors jumped out to a 12-5 lead in the second set. Rhodes then went on a 7-2 run to pull to within three points. Millsaps outlasted a few more runs from the Lynx in the second set to hold them off and a kill by Vincent put the Majors up 2-0 in the match.
Rhodes would not back down, the Lynx used their home court advantage to come all the way back and win the next three sets to take the match.
With the loss, MIllsaps is now 7-9 on the season and 2-4 in the SAA. The Majors will have to rebound quick as they play another SAA match on Sunday. This time they travel to Hendrix to take on the Warriors in Conway, Arkansas at 12:00 p.m.
