DANVILLE, Ky. -- The Millsaps College women's soccer team hit the road on Friday night for a Southern Athletic Association (SAA) match with No. 9 Centre College.
The Colonels proved worthy of that national ranking as they lead 2-0 at halftime, and scored three second-half goals to come away with the 5-0 win.
How It Happened
The Millsaps defense was tested early and often in the match as Centre got off a total 34 shots, 24 of which were on goal.
Alyssa McCarron, was busy all night as she had a career high 19 saves to bring her season total to a conference-leading 93.
What's Next?
Millsaps will continue their road trip as they travel to Sewanee on Sunday. The kickoff against the Tigers is set for 12:00pm.
