JACKSON, Miss. -- The regular season portion of the 2018 women's soccer schedule is coming to a close for Millsaps College. Tomorrow the Majors will travel to Alabama for a Southern Athletic Association (SAA) matchup with Birmingham Southern.

Last Week
The Majors played a pair of road SAA matches last week. On Friday they dropped a 5-0 decision to now No. 8 Centre College. On Sunday Millsaps fell to the Sewanee Tigers 2-0. 

Sophomore keeper Alyssa McCarron played all 180 minutes in goal last week and made 29 saves. Despite missing several games due to injury, her season total now sits at 103 which is tops in the entire SAA.

Saturday: Birmingham Southern (6-5-3, 0-4-2 SAA), 4:30pm, Birmingham, Alabama
Tomorrow the Majors will make the short trip to Birmingham for the final regular season match of the season. The Panthers enter into the weekend coming off a pair of losses. BSC has yet to score a win in SAA play, but has earned a pair of draws against Berry and Oglethorpe. 

Key Players for the Panthers
Sophomore forward Sydney Barrow leads BSC in goals scored with 7. Close behind her is senior forward Taylor Andrews and senior midfielder McKenna Boyd who each have 5. 

In the assist department, sophomore midfielder Abby Kay Choate and freshman Emma Choate each have totaled 5 this season. 

On the defensive end, Blakley Jones has dominated the minutes played in goal this year. She has totaled 85 saves, which is second to only McCarron in the SAA. She has allowed 15 goals and has a save percentage of .850
