ATLANTA, Ga. – The Southern Athletic Association (SAA) has announced that junior
Connor Woodall has been named the SAA Baseball Player of the Week.
Woodall was outstanding all week long for the Majors. He finished the week 7-for-15 at the plate for a .467 batting average. He also scored seven runs, had two doubles, a homerun, and five RBI. Additionally, he stole two bases and slugged .800. Of the four games during the week, Woodall had multiple hits in three contests and only struck out once.
His three-run home run was part of the eight-run 3rd inning that propelled Millsaps to a 14-2 run-rule win over Rhodes on Saturday afternoon.
