JACKSON, Miss. – On Tuesday the American Baseball Coaches Association announced the 2018 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. III All-Region teams and Regional Players of the Year.

For the first time in his Millsaps College career, senior outfielder Andy Page was named to the NCAA Division III South All-Region Second Team.

This is the first player from Millsaps to earn All-Region honors since 2015 when Keith Shumaker, William Chenoweth and Isaac Glenn all earned South All-Region First Team recognition. Shumaker went on to be named a First Team All-American.

The teams are voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association and the process is led by the ABCA NCAA Div. III All-America Committee.

This caps off a 2018 season that saw Page earn All-SAA First Team recognition for the second consecutive season.

Page started all 44 games for Millsaps and batted leadoff for the Majors this season. He posted a .383 batting average, which was tops on the team and sixth best in the SAA. He totaled a team-high 62 hits, including number 200 for his career on April 14^th against Centre. He scored a team-high 44 runs, drove in 19 RBIs, as well as hit five doubles and one home run. Page also tied with Cavan Breland for the team-lead in stolen bases with 13.
