JACKSON, Miss.-- The Millsaps Majors have two matches on the schedule this week. Check out the game notes below for information about each match's opponent.

Last Week
The Majors opened the 2018 season with a pair of home matches. On Friday Millsaps came back from a 1-0 deficit to earn a 1-1 draw with Belhaven. On Sunday afternoon, the Majors again went into double overtime, this time playing to a 0-0 draw with LaGrange College. 

After playing all 220 minutes in goal, sophomore keeper Alyssa McCarron earned the Defensive Player of the Week honor from the Southern Athletic Association (SAA).  

Sept. 3-9

Today: Centenary College (3-0), 3 pm, Mayo Field 
The Majors hit the road for the first time in 2018 as they travel to Shreveport, Louisiana for a 3:00pm kickoff against Centenary College. The Ladies are off to a 3-0 start, their most recent win coming against Belhaven on Saturday.

This will be the first time since 2016 these teams have met. Millsaps lost 4-1 in September of 2016.

Saturday: Greenville University (2-1), 5:00 pm, Harper Davis Field
The Majors are back home this weekend when they welcome Greenville University to Jackson for a non-conference match. The Panthers are 2-1, and will play Belhaven on Friday before taking to Harper Davis Field for the match with Millsaps.
