Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

No. 11 Centre Tops Women's Soccer 7-0

JACKSON, Miss. -- On Sunday, the Millsaps College women's soccer team invited the nationally ranked Colonels of Centre College to Harper Davis Field for a noon contest.

Seven goals in Sunday's contest allowed Centre to remain undefeated on the year, while Millsaps searches for their first conference win with just one game remaining.

How It Happened
Millsaps was unable to move the ball on the opposing side of the field until the 25th minute. Centre had already scored twice in the opening half, but the Majors picked up their only shot of the period after a Sharon Suffern corner.

There is only one person that sits above Maddie Moore in saves around the SAA, and she picked up seven more to keep the score 0-2 at halftime.

The Colonels came out of the break ready to go, scoring in the 47th, 61st, 67th, 70th and 85th minutes to go ahead 7-0.

What's Next?
The Majors will close out the regular season next weekend as the Panthers of Birmingham-Southern come to town on Saturday. Kimberly Manley, Emily Gager, Riley Fobare and Abby Tidwell are set to be recognized as Millsaps will honor these players for senior day.
