CONWAY, Ark. -- The Millsaps College women's soccer team encountered a tough Hendrix College team on Sunday.
The Warriors led 1-0 at halftime, and tacked on three second half goals to pick up the 4-0 win.
The loss drops Millsaps to 3-7 on the year. HC improves to 5-3-5 this season.
How It Happened
The Majors struggled to get anything going in the first half offensively .
Although Millsaps was forced to play the majority of the half on the defensive end of the field, Hendrix was only able to net one goal.
Maddie Moore defended well against 27 shots, matching her career high of 15 saves.
The second half saw three scores from the Warriors' senior forward in the 48th, 70th, and 82nd minutes to come away with a 4-0 win.
What's Next?
The Majors travel to Georgia this weekend for a pair of conference games. Millsaps will play Berry College on Friday night, and wrap up the weekend with a match against Oglethorpe University on Sunday. Game times are set for 6:30 p.m. CT and 12:00 p.m. CT, respectively.
