JACKSON, Miss. -- Coming off of their bye week, the Millsaps College football team hits the road this weekend for a Southern Athletic Association (SAA) matchup with the Tigers of Sewanee.
Last Time Out
Two weeks ago the Majors suffered their first home loss of 2019 at the hands of Trinity University.
Millsaps put the first touchdown on the scoreboard, but strong play from the Tigers in the game's middle quarters gave them a two possession lead in the 4th quarter. The Majors rallied late, but unfortunately came up short in a 24-17 loss.
After the loss the Majors head into week nine at 4-3 overall. They are 2-3 in the SAA.
Saturday: Sewanee Tigers (0-8, 0-6 SAA), 1:30 p.m., Sewanee, Tenn.
The Tigers enter Saturday's matchup off of a 51-12 conference loss to Trinity University. The Tigers have yet to pick up a win in 2019.
