JACKSON, Miss. -- The Millsaps College football team is preparing for their final home game of the 2019 season. Saturday will serve as Senior Day as the Majors will look to send out 19 players with a victory in their last time suiting up at Harper Davis Field.

Last Time Out
Millsaps was back in action on Saturday afternoon as they traveled to Sewanee for a Southern Athletic Association (SAA) matchup against the Tigers.

The offense scored early and often on their way to a 48-25 blowout win.

Sophomore quarterback Amryn Jeffrey was outstanding all afternoon long. He finished the game 23-32 passing for a career-high 377 yards. His four touchdowns were tied for a season-high. Those numbers earned him the SAA Offensive Player of the Week honor.

With that win, Millsaps enters this weekend at 5-3 overall. They are 3-3 in the SAA.

Tomorrow: Hendrix College Warriors (5-3, 3-3 SAA), 1:00 p.m., Harper Davis Field
The Warriors enter Saturday's matchup off of a 20-17 loss to Trinity University. Hendrix has lost three out of their last four games, with their most recent win coming on October 26 at Austin College.
