JACKSON, Miss.—After wrapping up their SAA home slate last weekend, the Majors will hit the road this weekend and head to Centre for an important conference matchup.
 
Last Week
 
The Majors started the week with a pair of losses to cross-town rival Belhaven, dropping game two in nine innings. Morgan McCrea led the way in game two with three hits and a pair of RBI's. 
 
Millsaps and Rhodes squared off in a weekend SAA series with the Lynx taking two of three. In game one, Millsaps finished off the Lynx in five innings, 8-0, behind a big game from Kendall Carder, who came through with a three-RBI triple. Freshman Ty Bergeron had a fantastic series at the plate, finishing five of nine with a homerun and four RBI's.

Millsaps will take on Centre in a key SAA matchup for both teams. As we reach the midway point of the conference slate, both teams have under .500 conference records and are looking to pick up big wins this weekend. Centre comes into this weekend's series on a six game losing streak, having dropped three straight non-conference series.   
 
Key Players for Centre

• Sarah Aubuchon-Aubuchon's .345 average is second on the Colonels squad but she leads the team with eight extra base hits (5 double and three homeruns) as well as 16 RBI's.   
• Amanda Morgan-The ace of the Colonels pitching staff, Morgan leads the team with five wins and has started 11 games. She's thrown 51.0 innings and has 37 strikeouts.   

The Majors and Colonels met four times last season with Centre sweeping the regular season series but Millsaps knocking Centre out of the SAA tournament with a 10-4 win.
