JACKSON, Miss. -- After dropping their last two matches, the Millsaps College men's soccer team hits the road this weekend for a pair of non-conference matches in the 'Lone Star State.'

On Friday, the Majors will take on East Texas Baptist University. The weekend concludes with a Saturday night contest against LeTourneau University.

Last Time Out
On Tuesday night, the Millsaps College men's soccer team entertained the defending NAIA national semifinalist William Carey Crusaders at Harper Davis Field.

The visiting Crusaders led 1-0 at halftime, and added a pair of second half goals to pick up the 3-0 win. 

The Majors enter this weekend with a 3-2 overall record.

Friday: East Texas Baptist University (1-4, 0-0 ASC), 7:30 p.m., Marshall, Texas
The Tigers currently sit at 1-4 on the year. Their lone win came back on September 1 when they topped Schreiner 4-3 in overtime. Since then, ETBU has been outscored 10-3 in four consecutive losses.

Key Players for the Tigers
Three different players lead an offensive attack for the Tigers that has scored 7 combined goals this season. Max Ponticorvo, Travis Atkinson and Jacob Lopez all have two goals each.  

Defensively, Justin Groves has played every minute in goal for ETBU. He has allowed 13 total goals, and has just a .538 save percentage.

Saturday: LeTourneau University (1-3-2, 0-0 ASC), 7:00 p.m., Longview, Texas
The Yellowjackets come into Saturday's matchup off a 3-0 loss to Sewanee. LeTourneu's lone win of the year came against Jarvis Christian on September 5.

The offense has totaled seven goals on the year, with Russell Gray, Luis De La Torre and Oscar Cravatio scoring two goals each. 

In goal, Diego Berlingeri has played every minute in all six matches. He has made 15 saves and has a 1.46 goals against average.
