ATLANTA, Ga. -- After an outstanding performance on the opening Southern Athletic Association (SAA) match of the 2020 season, Millsaps College senior Brandon Beck and sophomore John Kimball have been named the SAA Men's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week.

The Major duo helped lead the Majors to an 8-1 team win over Birmingham Southern. The pair defeated Jameson Bekaert and Wilbur Dotson 8-6 at the No. 1 spot, pushing their season record to 2-1.

Next up for Millsaps, the team heads to Florida this weekend for their annual spring break trip. The Majors open play with a match against Dickinson College on Monday, March 9.
