CANTON, Ga. -- Millsaps College men's and women's tennis duo Malakie Smith and Sam Tuli earned recognition on the Southern Athletic Association All-Sportsmanship Teams following the 2026 regular seasons. The announcement was made by the SAA league office on Wednesday.

Smith, a sophomore who is currently double majoring in Biology and Studio Arts, is a member of Chi Omega and the Christian Collective. After graduation she currently plans to pursue a career in Medical Illustration. A member of the Fall 2025 Club 40, Smith finished this past season with a 5-10 singles mark and 6-8 doubles record.

Tuli, a senior who just concluded his senior day, is weeks away from obtaining his degree in Computer Science. The Ocean Springs, Miss., native finished the year with a 9-9 singles record and 8-10 doubles standing.

Formed in 2011, the SAA places a special emphasis on good sportsmanship and fair play amongst all competitors.
