CONWAY, Ark. – A few late turnovers and a last ditch rally by Hendrix College was enough to upend the Millsaps men's basketball team, 68-66 inside the Grove Gymnasium in Conway on Saturday.
Millsaps (1-1, 1-1 SAA) led for the majority of the contest, but 19 turnovers were eventually too many to overcome. Additionally, the Majors failed to score a field goal in the final 3:04, clinging to a 64-60 advantage at that point.

Millsaps looked in business when freshman
Cam Rucker nailed a three-pointer to put the Majors up 57-50 with 7:51 to play. Hendrix's Sean Coman would answer with his own trey moments later and proved to be the hero late.
The Majors would then extend the lead to 61-56 off another Rucker basket entering the final five minutes of game. Hendrix would slowly chip away until they regained the lead late at 65-64.
Rucker continued to put the team on his back with a strong drive to hoop that resulted in a foul with 1:37 remaining. The Ripley, Miss., product sunk a pair of free throws to help the Majors pull ahead one last time, up 66-65.
Coman answered seconds later with what proved to be a game-winning three-pointer. Both teams traded possession and several turnovers until the clock ran out with Hendrix claiming the 68-66 win.
