JACKSON, Miss. – On a day where seven combined seniors and graduate student-athletes were honored on Senior night, the Millsaps men's soccer team was defeated in their final SAA regular season finale against Birmingham-Southern, 6-1 on Thursday. Freshman midfielder
Kade Folse scored his first collegiate goal for the Majors at Harper Davis Field.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Wilkins Dowdy tallied six saves for Millsaps. The Majors were outshot 17-2 in the first half by the Panthers, but had more shots than BSC, with eight shots to seven in second.
The Panthers set the tone early, scoring two goals in the first two minutes. BSC would then tack on three more goals in the first half to take a commanding 5-0 lead into the intermission.

Early in the second half, BSC would add on another goal to extend their lead.
Millsaps would find their first goal of the match in the 81st minute thanks to a corner kick from senior
Christopher Bruni that was headed in by Folse. This would prove to be the final goal of the match for a 6-1 final.
The Majors now travel south to the Florida Panhandle and face Pensacola Christian College on Tuesday, Oct. 26 for their final regular season match of the season. Opening kick is scheduled for 5 p.m. CT with live stats and video available at gomajors.com.
