FLOWOOD, Miss – Several records were shattered by the Millsaps men's and women's swimming and diving programs in their lone home meet of the season on Saturday. The Majors set seven school marks and three personal records, while hosting Loyola New Orleans at the University Wellness Center – Lakeland.

On the men's side, the quartet of Breydon Conner, Anthony Werner, Bryan Sullivan and Casey Miller set the tone with a new school record time of 1:46.53 in the 200-yard medley relay.

Reigning SAA Swimmer of the Week Sullivan marked two more school records in the 100-yard backstroke (54.15) and the 100-yard butterfly (52.85). He claimed first place in both events as well as the 50-yard freestyle.

Junior Cooper Clevenger also smashed a previous school record in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 12:40.11.

The women's program rewrote the school record books in the first race of the day in the 200-yard medley relay race. The team of Alexandra Raybourn, Kathryn Burns, Ginny Ray Clevenger and Madisyn Latino swam a sharklike speed of 2:00.59.

Clevenger, who served as the anchor also swam a school-record time of 12:14.76 in the 1000-yard freestyle.

Burns also tracked a new Major highwater mark of 1:14.50 in the women's 100-yard breaststroke.

The Majors will next travel to Tupelo, Miss. for a three-day invitational meet hosted by Rhodes College, Nov. 12-14.
