DELHI, La. – For the second time in three weeks, a Millsaps golf program dispatched Centenary College in a dual play format. The Millsaps men's golf team fired a total of 310, besting the Gents by six strokes at the Black Bear Golf Club to win on Thursday.
On Sept. 20, the women's squad won 5-0 in head-to-head matchups, while the men won with a stroke play format. It was the first win of any kind for the men's program since 2016.
Junior
Andrew Lovejoy fired a 1-over 73, while classmate
Krtin Udith was 3-over 75.
Freshman
Will Danielson was the third scorer Majors at 8-over 80. Juniors
Charlie Ellery and
Gabe Brooks tied as the last scorer with 82s.
Competing as individuals and right in the thick of the leaderboard were sophomore
Harrison Rhymes (+7) and freshman
Conner Kreppner (+10).

The Majors will conclude their fall season at the Chick-fil-A Invitational in Rome, Ga., held at the Stonebridge Golf Club, Oct. 25-26.
