JACKSON, Miss. – The Millsaps volleyball team finally returns to action after its longest offseason in program history and are scheduled to play 12 regular-season conference games in the spring.
Head coach
Jaime Fisher enters her 13th year leading the Majors. Fisher's career record heading into 2021 at Millsaps is 202-177. She also boasts six SAA semifinal appearances with the most recent occurring in 2018.
After losing all three of their All-SAA members and 11 players overall from the 2019 season, the Majors hope to get high production from five returning contributors. The players expected to be leaned upon are middle hitter

Alyssa Jolly, setter
Mary Tebbe, defensive specialist
Hannah Mattke and right side hitter
Bre Reed.
Appearing in 94 sets, Herring is the Majors' leading point scoring returner from 2019 with 165.5 points. She also had 130 kills.
Junior middle hitter
Alyssa Jolly is the Major's third-leading point scoring returner with 130.5 points. She appeared in 71 sets.
Sophomore setter
Mary Tebbe has the most experience out of all the returners from the 2019 squad. She played 105 sets and led the Majors in digs with 187.
Sophomore defensive specialist
Hannah Mattke appeared in 88 sets for the Majors in 2019. She had 168 digs and is the Majors' leading returner in total attempts with 342.
A third sophomore in right side hitter
Bre Reed accumulated 110 digs. She is also the second-leading point scoring returner for the Majors with 142. She appeared in 95 sets as a freshman.
Speaking of freshmen, the Majors will feature 10 total rookies this spring.
