ATLANTA – Millsaps swimming and diving graduate student-athlete and 2022 NCAA national qualifier
Bryan Sullivan was strong once again and earned his second SAA Men's Swimmer of the Week nod of the season, the conference office announced on Monday.
Sullivan garnered a pair of individual event victories, a runner-up finish and the nation's top DIII time in the 100-yard individual medley against DII Montevallo at GRIT Training in Flowood, Miss., on Saturday.
The Jackson, Miss., product won the 100-yard IM in 53.50 seconds as well as the 100-yard backstroke in 53.18 seconds. He also earned a second-place showing in the 50-yard freestyle (21.50).
Monday's announcement marks the fifth time in Sullivan's Millsaps career that he has been named the SAA Men's Swimmer of the Week. Sullivan earned the honor earlier this season following the Majors' first two meets on Oct. 3 and three times during the 2021-22 campaign.
Millsaps is next scheduled to host Centenary College during Homecoming Weekend on Saturday. The meet will be held inside GRIT Training, beginning at 12 p.m.
