ATLANTA – A pair of standout Millsaps volleyball players were recognized for their on-court accomplishments as members of the All-SAA Volleyball Team, the Southern Athletic Association announced on Monday.
Senior right-side hitter
Bre Reed was named All-SAA Second Team, while graduate middle hitter
Alyssa Jolly garnered All-SAA Honorable Mention recognition.
Reed finished eighth in the SAA with 68 total blocks and ninth in blocks per set at 0.8. Her 196 kills and 2.31 kills per set led the Majors. A product of Baton Rouge, La., Reed added 46 digs and five assists. Her blocks, kills and digs tied or set career-high totals.
Jolly was honored by the SAA for the third time with 146 kills and 1.97 kills per set. She added 53 blocks, 177 digs, seven service aces and eight assists. The Haslet, Texas, native returned for her fifth season, posting four double-doubles.
She was named to the 2021 All-SAA First Team and was a 2020 All-SAA Honorable Mention.
