DICKSON, Tenn. – The Millsaps men's golf team had one of his best days in program history at the SAA Fall Preview on Sunday. A second round 292 was carded, which is the best round in recent recorded history when records began being kept in 2016.
The Majors finished third out of four scoring teams at 303-292—595 for two rounds at (+19) at the Greystone Golf Club.
Sophomore
Will Danielson shined bright with an even performance highlighted by a second round 69. Danielson finished tied for third overall just ahead of eighth-place senior
Gabe Brooks. Brooks also finished with a first round 75 and closed with a 72 at (+3).
Completing the scoring for the Majors were seniors
Andrew Lovejoy (75-76—151) and
Charlie Ellery (78-76—154). Lovejoy finished tied for 11th at (+7) and Ellery tied for 16th at (+10).
Also competing for Millsaps were junior
Harrison Rhymes (T-18th, +11) and senior
Krtin Udith (23rd, +16).
The Majors will be back in action in a Tri-Match with Hendrix and host Centenary in Delhi, La. at the Black Bear Golf Club on Saturday, Oct. 1.
