Millsaps looked to counter when freshman
Colby Mayeux began set three with a kill. However, the Vikings again used a large 8-0 run to pull in front, 17-5. Millsaps would push for five of the next seven points to close the deficit to 19-10.
After a 3-0 Berry run, the teams would trade points to close the set and match at 25-14.
