MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – The Millsaps men's soccer program squared off against the Vikings of Berry College on Friday in a SAA conference matchup, with Berry prevailing 5-2 in Georgia. Junior

Jacks Dowdy tallied goals for the Majors.
Millsaps settled into their defensive routine early on, preventing any shots for Berry until the 24th minute, which was an attempt that sailed over the bar. The game itself saw a rather small amount of shots for both sides, with Berry finishing with seven shots on frame to the Majors' five.
Unfortunately for Millsaps, after a strong opening 27 minutes, they finally conceded a goal which was scored by Berry's Brock Shoultz.
The Majors held strong defensively for the next 15 minutes, but gave up two goals late in the first half.
Jason Wong Lopez scored in both the 43rd and 45th minutes, giving the Vikings a commanding lead.
The second half saw the Majors on the attack, with Dowdy generating a shot in the 50th minute which was saved by Viking goalkeeper Jose Palacios.
The Vikings would score again in the 57th minute off a shot by Lucas Stephenson.
The Majors managed to get one back off a goal scored by Bravo-Martinez in the 74th minute. Unfortunately the Vikings would find another goal in the 85th minute. Dowdy would later score off a penalty in the 87th minute to provide the final tally.
