JACKSON, Miss. – The Millsaps baseball team fell behind early, made a rally, but couldn't come all the back in a 16-6 loss to Alma College at Twenty Field on Tuesday.
The Scots ended the Majors' three-game winning streak and claimed the final game of the Millsaps Baseball Classic in seven innings.
Freshman starting pitcher

Junior
Jackson Ware went 1-2 with an RBI, run scored and walked. Freshman

Alma jumped out to a 13-0 lead entering the bottom of the sixth inning. The Majors would respond with six runs in their half of the frame, with the first eight batters reaching successfully.
The Scots would add three runs in the seventh. Millsaps would threaten again in the bottom of the inning with a runner on third, but was unable to score putting the run rule into effect.
