JACKSON, Miss. – The Millsaps men's and women's tennis programs ended their regular seasons with a pair of tough matches, falling to Centre and Sewanee on Saturday and Sunday.
The Majors now prepare for the SAA Conference Tournament in Chattanooga, Tenn., April 28-30.

Camille Fremaux and sophomore
Mackenzie Vordick provided the Major victories against Centre on Saturday. Freamaux used two sets to win on Court 1, 7-6 (7-4), 6-1. Vordick provided a comeback triumph after falling in a thrilling tiebreaker, 6-7 (6-8), 6-1, 10-7 on Court 5.

Trevor Vaccaro posted the best test on Court 1, falling 8-5.
Graduate
John Kimball and Chassaignac were victorious in singles competition. Kimball bested his Colonel foe on Court 1 with a 6-3, 6-2 winner. Chassaignac won a Court 3 with a nearly identical 6-2, 6-3 tally. Vaccaro was bested in a three-set battle on Court 2 at 6-0, 5-7, 6-3.

Alexis Oliver pushed Court 3 doubles to a tiebreak, coming up just short at 8-7 (7-1). In singles, Fremaux pushed set one to a tiebreaker, but fell 7-6 (7-3), 6-4 on Court 1.

Sam Tuli narrowly were bested 8-5 on Court 2 doubles.
A total of three Majors won a set or were a point away as the match was clinched. Kimball won set two, 6-2 on Court 1, Vaccaro was out front, 5-2 in the second on Court 2 and Tuli held a 5-3 advantage trying to tie his match on Court 6.
