AUSTIN, Texas – Millsaps men's golf junior student-athlete Harrison Rhymes secured placement on the 2022-23 CSC Academic All-District® Men's At-Large Team for NCAA Division III, the College Sports Communicators announced on Tuesday.
 
Rhymes, who is double majoring in Business and Political Science, possesses a 3.551 cumulative GPA.
 
He finished the campaign strong as the Majors' top placer at the 2023 SAA Golf Championships after firing consistently at plus-9 (74-75-76). The Monroe, La., product ended the three rounds tied for 26th in April.
 
The junior is no stranger to finishing near the top of the scorecard for the Majors. In three seasons, he has combined to be either the top-, second- or third-lowest scorer for the men's golf program in competition. His finish at the league event was his best finish in three tries and lowest three-round score of his collegiate career.
 
Rhymes will be the lone senior on the 2023-24 Millsaps men's golf roster. He will look to lead alongside upcoming graduates Charlie Ellery and Krtin Udith as well as upcoming junior Will Danielson.
 
The 2022-23 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators and nominated by members, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

The At-Large Teams recognize competitors outside of baseball, basketball, cross country, football, soccer, softball, swimming and diving, tennis, track and field as well as volleyball.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 21 (men) and June 22 (women).
