JACKSON, Miss. – The Millsaps men's and women's swimming and diving programs look to continue an upward trend in the squad's fifth year of existence, as the 2023-24 schedule was announced by Millsaps College Athletics Department on Thursday.
The Majors combined for 14 school records during the 2023 SAA Swimming and Diving Championships and will use nine regular-season meets to finish another season strong in 2024.
A three-meet road trip begins the slate, including at Delta State (Sept. 22), Rhodes (Sept. 23) and the University of Montevallo (Oct. 14).
Centenary will then trek to GRIT Training in Flowood, Miss. for the Majors' home opener son Oct. 28. Millsaps swept last season's dual match. The Majors will remain at home and welcome Rhodes on Nov. 4.
Millsaps will navigate back to the Delta for the three-day Delta State Invitational, running Nov. 17–19.
After the holiday break, the Majors will make their own trip to Centenary on Jan. 10, 2024. West Florida will battle Millsaps the following week in the final home competition on Jan. 19. The Majors will close out the regular season at Loyola New Orleans (Jan. 20).
Millsaps then sets its sights for conference crowns at the SAA Swimming and Diving Championships inside the Birmingham CrossPlex, Feb. 7-10.
Elite qualifiers will have the opportunity to compete in the 2024 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships, held in Greensboro, N.C., March 20-23.
Times for each meet will be added to the teams' online schedules as the seasons get closer.
