ATLANTA – The Millsaps volleyball program was tabbed seventh in the 2023 Southern Athletic Association volleyball preseason poll, announced by the Southern Athletic Association on Tuesday.
League head coaches from across the conference predicted order from first to eighth, with a first-place vote garnering eight points, second-place seven points and so on. The voters picked Berry picked to repeat with seven first-place votes. Millsaps and Rhodes finished seventh with 10 points each in the rankings.
The Majors feature a dozen returners and begin the regular season at the Centenary Invite in Shreveport, La., Sept. 1-2. The home schedule is slated to begin with the Millsaps Classic inside the Hangar Dome, Sept. 15-16.
