JACKSON, Miss. – The Millsaps volleyball team will be hosting the 2023 Millsaps Invitational at the Hanger Dome, Friday through Saturday.
Belhaven University, Huntingdon College and the University of Dallas will be competing against each other and with the Majors in five total matches.

The Majors look to improve upon their 3-4 record so far this season. The team most recently downed St. Thomas (Texas) in a thrilling, five-set comeback. On the attacking side, the Majors are led by junior
Anna Capezzera with 99 kills and sophomore
Mallory Richardson with 68 kills. Junior
Zoe Elder also has made her presence known with 216 assists. Senior
Margret Richardson leads on the defensive side with 96 digs.

Aniyah Tompkins has been stellar for the team as well, sitting currently at 147 assists. Classmate

The Crusaders currently sit with a 6-2 record, having previously beaten Belhaven and Millsaps earlier this season. Senior
Cassie Dyoub is looking to expand upon her success last season, where she posted 311 kills helping her gain a spot on the All-SCAC Second Team. She already has 97 kills this year.
