JACKSON, Miss. – The weekly recognitions continue to add up for Millsaps football junior punter Ethan Klapatch as he was recognized nationally as part of the D3football.com Team of the Week, the organization unveiled on Tuesday.  
 
The Team of the Week, presented by Scoutware, is D3football.com's weekly honor roll, currently in its 25th season of recognizing the top performance at each position from the previous week. Players are nominated by schools and selected via D3football.com.
 
On Monday, Klapatch was also named the SAA Football Special Teams Athlete of the Week.

He tallied four punts for 221 yards (55.2 yard average), with three going 50-plus yards in a narrow 53-42 defeat to Hendrix at Harper Davis Field on Saturday.
 
The two-time member of the All-SAA Honorable Mention Defensive Team posted a long of 67 yards with two kicks landing inside the 20-yard line as well as forcing a fair catch.
 
Klapatch is the first Millsaps football player to secure a spot on the D3football.com Team of the Week since kicker Hunter Sellen made the list in March 2021.
 
The Majors will next travel to face Birmingham-Southern on the road, beginning at 4 p.m. on Saturday. Live video and live stats will be provided at gomajors.com.
