CANTON, Ga. – The Millsaps men's and women's soccer programs both saw three student-athletes recognized by Southern Athletic Association coaches on Friday. In a press release, freshman

Alex Bremond and junior
Emily Lozano were named All-SAA Honorable Mention. Additionally, freshman
Alden Romano and senior
Nicole Balduccini were selected to the SAA All-Sportsmanship teams.
Dykes appeared in all 15 regular-season games and started 13 for the men's team. He is tied with a team-high three goals and seven points, while leading with 33 shot attempts and 19 shots on goal. He added an assist and also provided the game-winning strike against Berry College on Oct. 18.
Mckeithen had a successful opening collegiate campaign as well, starting in 14 regular-season contests. He has netted two goals to go along with a team-best three assists and seven points. The Germantown, Tenn., product also registered 13 shots with six landing on target.
The SAA All-Sportsmanship teams were announced with the All-SAA squads at the same time this season. Romano received the Millsaps recognition after making 13 appearances and 12 starts to date. Demonstrating selfless character throughout the season, Romano holds an assist, six shot attempts and three shots on goal.
On the women's side, Bremond started 14 times in 17 regular-season appearances and was an offensive force. The Slidell, La., native tops the team with six goals, six assists, 18 points, 37 shot tries and 20 shots on goal. She provided the game-winning tallies against Tougaloo College on Sept. 15 and at Centenary College on Sept. 18.
Millsaps has one of the league's top keepers in Lozano. The Mesquite, Texas, product secured her second career All-SAA Honorable Mention nod and currently leads the conference with 95 saves. She was credited with the win over Tougaloo, shut out Centenary and posted a career-best 15 stops at Centre College on Oct. 13.
Senior captain Balduccini made the SAA All-Sportsmanship team after fighting back from an injury and led the Majors with superior leadership on the pitch. Making 15 appearances, the Wynnewood, Pa., product tallied four shot attempts with one on net thus far.
The 2024 SAA Soccer Championships begin with the First Round on Saturday. The men travel to Oglethorpe University, while the women trek to Rhodes College. Both matches begin at 12 p.m. CT and live video and live stats can be found at gomajors.com.
