CANTON, Ga. – Millsaps women's soccer sophomore midfielder Alex Bremond was a dominate force for the Majors in recent games and league coaches took note, naming her the Southern Athletic Association Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week for Offense on Monday.

Bremond was crucial in helping the Majors finish 1-1-1 on the week. Her breakout performance came against Tougaloo on Sunday, where she scored a hat trick and added four assists. She fired 11 shots with five on target in the 12-0 win.

Bremond also attempted five shots with four on goal and added an assist in a 2-2 draw versus LeTourneau on Tuesday. Additionally, she added two shot attempts and a shot on goal in a 1-0 defeat to Ozarks on Friday.

The Millsaps women's soccer team will be back in action at Harper Davis Field against Centenary College, beginning at 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
