CANTON, Ga. – The Millsaps men's and women's swimming and diving programs were selected sixth in the 2024-25 Southern Athletic Association men's and women's swimming & diving preseason polls on Thursday.
The men received five votes and the women obtained six votes. The Rhodes men's and women's swimming and diving programs both received the most first-place votes and are expected to be top contenders for the SAA championship. Voting was conducted among the SAA's six head coaches and announced in a release via the SAA league office.
Millsaps began their regular season on Sept. 20 where they competed in the Magnolia Invitational. Their next meet will be on Oct. 12 when the teams host the University of Montevallo at GRIT Training in Flowood, Miss., beginning at 1 p.m.
After this contest, the Majors will then compete in three more regular-season meets before the 2025 SAA Swimming & Diving Championships, which is set for Feb. 12-15 in Danville, Ky.
