CANTON, Ga. – A convincing victory by the Millsaps football team at Sewanee has earned a pair of Majors Southern Athletic Association Athlete of the Week honors, the conference office announced on Monday.

Cole Canatella was selected the SAA Offensive Athlete of the Week and Millsaps freshman kicker
Connor Babin was voted the SAA Special Teams Athlete of the Week by league coaches.
Canatella was instrumental in helping the Majors down Sewanee, 31-21 on Saturday. He passed for 381 yards (31-of-38) and added seven rushing yards. The New Orleans, La., native threw for three scores and added a fourth rushing touchdown on the ground in Tennessee.
Babin helped the Majors win the battle of field position against the Tigers. He tallied six kickoffs for 326 yards (54.3-yard average) in the triumph.

Ethan Klapatch with SAA weekly accolades this season. Klapatch was tabbed the SAA Special Teams Athlete of the Week on Sept. 9 after the Majors bested Belhaven, 23-21 to open the season.
