CANTON, Ga. – The Millsaps men's soccer program put up a stout defensive showing at Rhodes over the weekend, garnering the Southern Athletic Association Defensive Athlete of the Week honors, the conference office detailed in a press release on Monday.

Michael Hamauei was named the SAA Defensive Athlete of the Week for the first time in his collegiate career after doing his part to keep the Majors alive in Memphis on Saturday. He made a season-high 10 saves in a narrow 2-1 defeat against the Lynx.
The two-time All-SAA Honorable Mention student-athlete has made 31 saves in seven starts this season.
Millsaps returns to Harper Davis Field to host Hendrix College for Senior Night on Friday. The match is set for a 5 p.m. start with live video and live stats available at gomajors.com.
