ROME, Ga. — The Millsaps men's golf team posted quality finishes on the green at the Chick-Fil-A Invitational at the Stonebridge Golf Club, hosted by Berry College, Monday and Tuesday.
The Majors finished the two-day course tied for 16th place, combining scores 313-312-311 for a total of 936 (+72).
Sophomore Miles Harrison continued to make an impact for the Majors on the golf course after tying for 47th place. He completed all three rounds with a total of 230 (plus-14) with individual round scores of 78-75-77.
Classmate Charlie Berglund finished close behind Harrison, tied for 55th after completing three rounds with a plus-16 over a two-day course (80-78-74—232). Junior Julius Kroell (76-80-78—234) tied for 64th at plus-18 to finish out strong on the Major leaderboard.
Sophomore Noble Burns completed all three rounds with a 242 in 84th place at plus-26, driven by his determination to close out strong on Tuesday. Freshman William Jeonsson finished 98th in the standings, after competing in two rounds on Monday (82-79).
The Millsaps men's golf team will return and compete close to home, concluding their fall slate at the Belhaven Invitational on Oct. 27-28 at the Refuge Golf Course in Flowood, Miss.
