SALEM, Va. – The Millsaps men's cross country team competed against the best runners in the Southeast, placing well at the 2025 NCAA South Region Championship on Saturday.
Sophomores
Greer Hernandez and
Phillip Antis along with freshmen trio
Dallas Stricker,
Devion Hart and
Mason Castleberry competed at Green Hill Park.
Hernandez paced the Majors with a 54th-place showing, covering eight kilometers in 26 minutes, 35.5 seconds. He finished half a second off his season-best time.
Stricker and Hart entered the finishing chute closely together as well. Stricker placed 88th (27:34.0), while Hart was 90th (27:36.7).
Castleberry clocked 28:07.7 to close his season in 107th place. Additionally, Castleberry was just three seconds away from his season best.
Antis competed hard, but had to pull out of the race due to an injury.
