CLEVELAND, Miss. – The Millsaps men's swimming and diving program led by senior Kaiden Auzenne and junior Payton Jones set numerous season bests at the Delta State University Thanksgiving Invitational, Thursday through Sunday inside the Ronald G. Mayers Aquatics Center.

Jones started the competition placing 12th in the 1000-yard freestyle in a season-best time of 11 minutes, 22.31 seconds on Thursday.

He nearly bettered his season-best in the 500-yard freestyle B Finals, closing in 15th at 5:28.95 on Friday. Additionally, Auzenne covered the 50-yard distance in the same stroke finishing 23rd in the C Finals in 23.33 seconds.

Saturday saw Jones set another 2025-26 best, covering the 100-yard butterfly C Finals in 24th at 1:00.53. Auzenne also competed in the third day of action, placing ninth in the 100-yard backstroke B Finals (1:03.19).

On Sunday, Jones set his third season-best mark of the season by competing in the 1650-yard freestyle for the first time as a junior. He placed 11th in 19:34.64. Auzenne also secured his second second-best time of the weekend on the final day of swimming. He posted a time of 52.90 to secure 26th position in the 100-yard freestyle Prelims.
