THE TEAMS

Millsaps College
The Majors enter their home tournament with four players averaging double figures and a lineup that has shown early-season chemistry and toughness. Junior forward Tia Anderson is averaging 16.2 points, 7.2 rebounds and 45 percent shooting.

Classmate Garin Freeman continues to orchestrate the offense, posting 14.8 points per game while leading the team with 30 assists in five games, showcasing strong decision-making and pace in the backcourt.

The senior duo of Elyse Warren and Lexus Keyes add maturity and two-way productivity. Warren has been dominant in the paint, averaging an explosive 15.5 points and 15.3 rebounds per game. Keyes has contributed across the board with 12.0 points, 37 percent shooting and all-around energy that fuels both ends of the floor. With balanced scoring and excellent rebounding, the Majors aim to protect home court and continue building momentum.

Austin College
The Roos enter the Classic with limited early-season action but promising production from their emerging core. Junior guard Avory Miller leads the team with 10.7 points per game on 37.5 percent shooting, showing early efficiency and confidence.

Both Lexi Martin and Trinity Williams are averaging 10.3 points per game, giving Austin College a versatile scoring punch. With only three games played so far, the Roos arrive in Jackson hungry to test themselves and make an early statement against strong regional opponents.

Huntingdon College
The Hawks have leaned on a powerful senior trio to open their season. Makayla Ford has been electric, averaging 17 points, 38.8 percent shooting, 35.7 percent from three, and an impressive 3.7 steals per game. Her scoring and defensive disruption have made her one of the top early-season performers in the region.

Classmates Deshauna Foote and Ashanti Thomas round out the group's veteran leadership. Foote's 9.7 points and 87 percent shooting at the free-throw line offer a steady offensive presence. Thomas stands at 8.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 50 percent shooting as a strong interior anchor. Together, the trio provides scoring, rebounding, and pressure defense as the Hawks look to assert themselves in the Classic.

MUW
The Owls arrive with a productive and experienced core that has wasted no time putting up numbers. Senior forward Mia Bowen has been outstanding, averaging 19.8 points, 8.0 rebounds and 17 blocks in five contests.

Senior guard Conley Langford adds 14.0 points, 6.4 rebounds, and ranks second on the team in assists (12) and first in steals (16), showcasing her two-way versatility.

Junior Fantasia Wilson has been everywhere—posting 9.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, and leading the team in assists (16) and second in steals (14). With multiple scoring threats and active perimeter defenders, MUW looks poised to cause problems for opponents all weekend.

A WEEKEND OF OPPORTUNITY

All four teams see the thanksgiving Classic as a chance to sharpen their identity before conference play begins. With talented veterans, breakout underclassmen, and contrasting play styles, this Thanksgiving showcase sets the stage for two days of competitive, high-energy basketball inside the Hangar Dome.
