CANTON, Ga. — The Southern Athletic Association weekly accolades continue to roll in for the Millsaps football team as freshman defensive back
Peyton Depolitte was voted the SAA Football Defensive Athlete of the Week on Monday. Depolitte secured the honor after a league-wide Sports Information Directors' vote and was announced by the SAA office.
Depolitte provided the game-clinching interception in a 27-24 victory over Southwestern on Saturday. Depolitte intercepted the pass at the Millsaps 20-yard line and returned it seven yards, sliding down at the 27-yard line with only 13 seconds remaining in the game.
