HOUSTON – The Millsaps men's golf trio of freshman
Charlie Berglund along with seniors
Will Danielson and
Thomas Arensberg finished in the top 25 at the Space City Classic after completing three rounds, Monday and Tuesday.
The Majors competed on the par-71, Gus Wortham Park Golf Course measuring 6,351 yards. Millsaps placed seventh out of 10 quality teams.
Berglund paced the Majors shooting a plus-11 (73-73-78) to tie for 19th. The duo of Danielson (72-76-79) and Arensberg (78-71-78) ended both at plus-14 and tied for 25th. Arensberg's 71 in the Round Two was a best as a Major.
Sophomore
Jason Howe completed Millsaps' scoring in 41st and at plus-20 (77-74-82). Freshman
Miles Harrison was 49th at plus-27 and junior
Steven Noack closed three rounds in 52nd to card plus-35.
Berglund, Arensberg, Harrison and Noack each posted 54-hole lows for the Majors. additionally, both Howe (74) and Noack (78) tied low rounds with Millsaps.
The Majors will next compete at the LTU Spring Break Invitational in Opelika, Ala., March 12-14.
