CANTON, Ga. – The Millsaps baseball team earned the right to host the Southern Athletic Association Baseball Championship for the first time since 2013. On Wednesday, a terrific regular season was rewarded with 13 total All-Conference awards following a league coaches' vote.
The Majors earned SAA Baseball Coaching Staff of the Year, senior
Bradley Pelle was selected SAA Baseball Athlete of the Year and classmate
Nick Tarantino was voted SAA Baseball Pitcher of the Year.
Both Pelle and Tarantino made All-SAA First Team alongside classmates
Gray Berry (third base) and

Jackson Hailey helped the Majors finish the 2025 regular season with a 28-12 overall record and a 13-5 conference mark. The team earned the right to host after being picked sixth in the SAA Baseball Preseason Poll.
The Majors are tied with Berry with 344 runs and are third with 415 hits, while also standing first in the league with 46 home runs and 314 RBIs.
Millsaps is currently tied for 19th in NCAA Division III in home runs and league-leading 215 walks are 30th.
Page, a Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame inductee with 879 wins in 37 seasons as head coach, now has nine conference coach of the year plaudits. He has three in the SAA (2025, 2022, 2013) and six in the SCAC (2005, 2003, 1995, 1994, 1993, 1992).
Pelle ranks top-three in seven SAA offensive categories and enters postseason action with a 15-game hitting streak. He is the second Major to be named Athlete of the Year for baseball during the SAA era, beginning in 2013.
Keith Shumaker was recognized in 2013 and 2015.
Pelle leads the team and conference with 13 home runs and is second in the league with 56 RBIs. His 13 round-trippers are tied for 22nd nationally.
The right fielder is currently third in the conference with 65 hits and leads the league with 19 doubles (tied 10th DIII), while being named SAA Baseball Athlete of the Week during his dominant senior campaign.
The Kenner, La., native sits second among his teammates with a .394 batting average and has started in all 40 games for the Majors.
Tarantino made history by becoming the first Major to garner SAA Baseball Pitcher of the Year status. He is currently first in the conference and tied for fifth in NCAA Division III with a 9-1 overall pitching record.
The hard-working, left-handed pitcher has seen a league-high 74.1 innings pitched. He also stands first in the conference and tied 23rd nationally with 79 strikeouts.
The Covington, La., native holds a 3.03 ERA that stands fifth in the conference as well.
Tarantino was twice named the SAA Pitcher of the Week and NCBWA Div. III Pitcher of the Month once.
Tarantino becomes a three-time All-Conference member, having made 2024 All-SAA Second Team and 2023 All-SAA Honorable Mention previously.
Berry a leadoff third baseman for the Majors, currently leads the conference with 63 runs while being fourth in the league with 64 hits.
The third baseman holds the second-highest batting average (.418) and on-base percentage (.536) to go along with his stellar performance.
Over the course of the regular season, Berry was voted SAA Baseball Athlete of the Week and has accumulated the fourth-most RBIs (43).
He also sits third in the NCAA Division III baseball rankings with 25 hit-by-pitches.
Berry started 40 games for the Majors and continues to make an impact with his impressive six home runs and 15 doubles during the 2025 regular season.
Scott improved his standing to All-SAA First Team after being named Honorable Mention in 2024. Scott is tied for second on the squad and fifth in the league with seven home runs and fifth in the SAA with 40 RBIs. He is also third in the conference with 12 hit by pitches, sixth with a .491 on-base percentage and 26 walks.
Scott started in 38 games for the Majors, standing third on the team with a .356 batting average. The designated hitter has 47 hits, 33 runs scored and 10 doubles.
Page made All-SAA for the third after an Honorable Mention pick in 2023 and an additional All-SAA Second Team nod in 2022.
He started all 40 games for the Majors during the 2025 regular season and holds a .301 batting average. The steady and strong defensive first baseman owns 32 runs, 47 hits and Page has accumulated two home runs during his graduate campaign.
The Flowood, Miss., native's performance also showcases four doubles, 17 walks and 25 RBIs.
Bounds, a phenomenal left fielder for the Majors, is currently tied for second on the team with seven home runs and third with 44 runs and tied for third with 40 RBIs.
Bounds appeared in all 40 games during the regular season. His work ethic on the field has led him to 31 walks. He ranks second in the SAA in walks, fifth in RBIs and home runs and sixth in runs scored.
Fields was one of Millsaps' top relief pitchers. He made 14 appearances with 27.2 innings pitched and only allowed one extra-base hit,
His 2.60 ERA was highlighted with seven strikeouts and a 2-0 pitching record.
Ousley also started all 40 games for the Majors, while registering 26 runs and 41 hits.
The shortstop currently holds nine doubles, one triple, a home run and 22 walks on the playing field. His 11 hit by pitches rank fourth in the league.
Ware appeared in 37 games and he has contested 38 hits and 28 runs. He is tied for third on the team with 10 doubles and has seen three home runs clear the fences. His five sacrifice flies are second most in the SAA thus far.
The center fielder also boasts a .314 batting average, 25 RBIs and has recorded 20 walks and eight hit by pitches.
Farris made the SAA All-Sportsmanship Team after showing great leadership and attitude throughout his career.
The Avery Island, La., native appeared in 10 games and 12 at-bats, while also stepping in for an injured teammate at second base.
The Millsaps baseball team will be hosting the 2025 Southern Athletic Association Baseball Championship as the No. 1 seed, beginning on Thursday, May 8th through Saturday, May 10th at Twenty Field in Jackson.
