CANTON, Ga. – The Southern Athletic Association's eight head volleyball coaches cast their vote in the 2025 SAA Volleyball preseason poll. The Majors were tabbed seventh with 21 points, which was announced by the SAA league office on Thursday.
Coming off their 22nd Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference championship, SAA newcomers Trinity University were picked first in the poll with six first-place votes and 55 points.
Berry College was projected second with 47 points, while Centre College was selected third with 43 points and the two remaining first-place votes.
Millsaps, coming off a stellar 22-6 season, was picked seventh in the preseason poll with 21 points.
Last year the Majors finished with the most overall wins since the 2012 season and earned the most conference wins (eight) since 2014.
The Majors will begin the 2025 regular season against Howard Payne University and the University of Dallas at the Crusader Classic in Irving, Texas on Aug. 29.
